Have been working on this really fun project, it's an anthology of illustrations of dreams ✨ If you love colors and to draw and you also love to dream (and remember what you dreamt about) contact us at thedreamcluster@gmail.com The book will be Kickstarted to cover the cost of production (printing, design, etc) and compensation (as in, monetary compensation) for all contributing artists. FROM GOUACHE TO SKIRT!

Becoming a skirt process (: Thanks to the magic of Spoonflower, my gouache painting (inspired on purepecha art) became fabric and then thanks to my super awesome sister: a skirt!

In the painting I’m trying to tell the story of a girl, part of a small community, who has to go trough a beautiful landscape full of life and colors, her way might be harder and longer, but it sure is beautiful.

I just tried gouache for the first time! I am loving it! can’t wait to make the time to do more experimentation (:

CONCIENCIA

 

 

He estado pensando, la Paz es uno de los objetivos que por mucho tiempo hemos perseguido, a través de muchas vidas, civilizaciones, métodos; pero siempre se nos escapa de las manos porque es un concepto muy abstracto, es siempre un objetivo. Así como saber los número de personas que están pasando momentos terribles no nos afecta directamente, porque son un concepto, no podemos entender que cada uno de esos número es alguien con seres queridos, con sueños, con comida favorita. Así que quizá necesitamos empezar pasito a pasito, poniéndonos objetivos inmediatos a nuestra persona, estando conscientes de que todos los seres somos valiosos por igual y que estamos conectados. Conscientes de que todo lo que hacemos es importantísimo y tiene consecuencias, que no hay mejor manera de ser humanos que estar conscientes de que lo somos.

I have been watching Roswell with my sister! I really really liked that show when I was like 10 and it was on TV, my little sister was 5 then, so its a lot of fun watching it together (:
